Quantum Yoga - For a Healthy Body, Mind
& Heart

Our individual human body with which we are identified is
our action body or microcosm (Vyashti). It has to adapt itself
to the environment outside i.e., the macrocosm (Samashti).
In the cosmos, nothing exists in isolation. Everything has
a reflex relation with every other thing. This means that
relationships are spontaneous and instantaneous. According
to Bhagavad-Gita various dimensions of our microcosm like
earth, water, fire, air, sky, mind, intelligence, ego &
Soul are in a state of rhythmic balance within as well as
with the corresponding macrocosmic dimensions. This massive
association forms the fabric of the Cosmic Super net (Mayajaal)
where everything is in a relative and dynamic equilibrium.
It is as though the entire cosmos is projected in the human
body while the human body is projected in the cosmos.
The dynamic connections of human microcosm with the macrocosm
are made through breath, senses and electromagnetic radiations.
Thus, our individual action body is gifted with a vital feedback
not only within itself but also with the Cosmic Self. ‘Quantum
Yoga’ is the realization of the vibratory unison of the
Cosmic Self with our Inner Self. This harmonization generates
the vital Rhythm of Life and enlivens our inert organic body.
Healing is an integral part of this rhythm and is active every
moment of our life, with every breath we take.
Bhagavad-Gita defines our mortal physical body as
Kshetra. It is governed by a Nuclear Core Energy, which
acts as its mastermind and is called Kshetrajna. This
Nuclear Core Energy is our Soul/Spirit and is an Eternal Spark
of Divine Firmament-the ultimate source of Infinite Cosmic
Energy. To live a healthy and virtuous life it is essential
to understand how the Kshetra gets its positive and
negative qualities and how they affect the relative brilliance
of Kshetrajna, as reflected on the mirror of our individual
consciousness.
Our action body is created out of a peculiar mixture of various
physical elements. Advent of ego enkindles a specific identity
in each one of us. The supreme mantra of intelligence awakens
the power of wisdom. This domain of our Kshetra is
endowed with diverse emotional expressions. The senses are
sanctified for perceptive and reactive functions. A variety
of good and bad qualities come to dwell in this Kshetra
and disturb its balance. It is not possible to handle the
magnanimous wheel of Kshetra till we acquire adequate proficiency. The
wheel of Kshetra derives its energy quotient and functional
guidelines from its Nuclear Core Energy---the Kshetrajna.
In ignorance, we allow our ego to propel dark clouds of desires
and cravings around our consciousness. Our inner connections
become obscure. We fail to get optimum energy and essential
guidelines from the Kshetrajna. This is the ‘Quantum
of Descent’. It distorts our personality. We get easily irritated
and our temperamental stability falls. We become vulnerable
to stress, anxiety and anger. Anger is our worst addiction,
worse than smoking, drinking and drugs. It triggers total
intellectual disintegration. Such a person always suffers
from sickness and disease, whether real or imaginary. He is
of no use, either to himself or to the society. Though alive,
he is practically dead. According to Bhagavad-Gita,
this ‘Ladder of Fall’ is inevitable for each one of us till
we rise with the spirit of a warrior and take up the heroic
challenge of controlling our mind. We ourselves become our
best friend when our mind is disciplined. We ourselves become
our worst enemy when our mind is let loose.
Once we are able to conquer our mind we can dispel the clouds
created by desires, anger & lust. The sublime glow of
Kshetrajna pervades our consciousness like the ethereal
rays of a rising sun. The process of downfall is reversed
and we enter into a ‘Quantum of Ascent’. Our mind becomes
alert and enlightened. It is able to assert a tight command
over our thoughts and desires. Our intellect and intuitive
judgment improve. We become better adapted to solve conflicting
and confusing situations. We acquire the quality of patience
and contentment. With patience and contentment at heart, our
work efficiency improves. We spend less energy and get more
output. As the mind turns away from external distractions
our Inner Vision gets magnified and a metaphysical transformation
takes place at the core of our heart. This ‘non-surgical
heart transplantation’, makes our consciousness Ritambhara.
It automatically filters out all enchantments and cravings.
Exalted from the haze of sensuous desires it comes to rest
in the crystal clear brilliance of our Pure and Blissful Inner
Self (Satchidanand). In this state of Ecstatic Unison
all our actions become coherent with Divine Will. They are
destined to flourish and bring profound peace and solace at
heart. The Inner Tranquility shines on our face as a Divine
Aura which heals our body, mind &heart. It annihilates
all sickness, suffering and disease. We look not only healthy
but also beautiful. This timeless beauty extends beyond our
body and is the hallmark of a person with happiness at heart.
When we achieve this Absolute Harmony (Sthithaprajna),
even the atmosphere around us gets charged with the rapturous
vibrations of Quantum Yoga and initiate an identical response
in the people we meet. We create a new world, an abode of
Divine Love. A destination where we get prepared to evolve
and accomplish our True Potential—Homo Divines (Divya-
manav).
